Welcome

The Middlesex Braves is a Tier 1/AAA hockey program that has participated in the highly competitive Massachusetts Select League for the past 25 years. The Braves program consists of seven teams from Mites through Bantam Major.

The Braves Organization is committed to providing an environment where players at all levels learn and respect the game of hockey. All of our coaches have experience coaching youth hockey for a number of years and each has played various levels of High School, College and Professional hockey. The coaches work with each player teaching the fundementals of hockey as well as helping them to understand and learn the more complex concepts of the game.

A few highlights of the Program include:

Participation in the Mass Select Hockey Tier 1/AAA League, the top youth hockey league in Massachusetts.

Full season game schedule ranging from 18 - 33 games depending on level plus participation in 2 to 3 tournaments annually. In addition, some non-league games are scheduled vs local AAA teams.

1 practice per week for Mite and Squirt Minor levels, 2 practices per week for Squirt Major, Pee Wee and Bantam levels.

On-Ice skills directed by John McLean (Boston Bruins Skating Coach) and his Dynamic Skating staff.

Separate Goalie skills throughout the year.

Off-ice training at Athletic Evolution in Woburn starting at the Pee Wee level.

A consistent weekly practice and game schedule throughout the year.
